Mental Health Evaluations
Mental Health Evaluations
What is a mental health evaluation?
Do I need a mental health evaluation?
Will a mental health diagnosis follow me (or my child) forever?
A mental health examination should be as comfortable as a yearly physical examination; however, the stigma around mental health issues sometimes discourages us from seeking the support, guidance or intervention required to resolve mental health issues.
What is a behavior plan?
How will a behavior plan help me? How will it help my child?
A behavior plan is a structured, written set of strategies and interventions that will help an individual reach a targeted goal, such as decreasing a negative behavior or increasing a positive behavior. Behavior plans are most helpful for school-aged children or individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
Do you dream big, but aren’t sure what to do next?
Are you achieving less than what you want, making excuses for not attempting something, or indulging in negative self-talk?
Do you keep your ambitions a secret, afraid what others will say?
Do you know a young person who is not living up to their full potential?
Or one with seemingly insurmountable difficulties?
Has this young person exhausted all the resources in your community?
